Inte långt efter att nyheten om Ingmar Bergman's död nått oss, drabbas filmvärlden av ytterligare ett dödsfall, Michelangelo Antonioni.

Läs här vad Ingmar Bergman tyckte om Antonioni. Han var inte allt för imponerad av dennes filmskapande.

Själv anser jag inte att 'Blow up' - en av två filmer Bergman nämner som varandes stora filmer av Antonioni (den andra är 'La Notte') - hör till dennes bästa filmer. Den är långt mer 'mainstream' än de övriga oeuvres han har skapat.

Not long after the news about Ingmar Bergman's death, the film world is struck by another loss, namely Michelangelo Antonioni.

ersonally I don't regard 'Blow up' - one of two films Bergman mentions as being great works by Antonioni (the other one is 'La Notte') - is part of his more interesting oeuvres. It is far more mainstream than the other films he made.

Contrary to Bergman I regard Antonioni being a highly interesting film maker.
